How to Go There If you're bringing your own vehicle, using Google Maps is the easiest way to reach Mantayupan Falls, as the pin location is quite accurate. For commuters, ask the bus driver to drop you off at the intersection after Barili Municipal Hall. You can then take a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) or tricycle. Be sure to negotiate the fare before getting on. Alternatively, to see the route I took from Poblacion Barili to Mantayupan Falls, click here. |

Other Details This is a popular tourist destination, attracting both locals and visitors alike. The facilities are well-maintained, and the friendly staff is always ready to assist you. The on-site restaurant offers a selection of delicious food. While the hanging bridge may be challenging for those who are afraid of heights, the entire area is generally people-friendly. For your safety, avoid visiting the waterfall during heavy rainfall or the rainy season due to sudden and significant rise in water level. Watch out for large stones in some parts of the swimming area that may cause foot injury. Wear a life vest, even if you're an experienced swimmer, as the water can be very cold and cause leg cramps. The water depth is around 29 feet. |
