Administration
- Take one pill once a day, the same time every day
- Can be taken with or without food
- Antacids, multivitamins, calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc supplements should be taken 2 hours before or 6 hours after TLD
- Consult your physician if taking rifampin,carbamazepine, metformin, etraviri phenytoin, phenobarbital, and nevirapine
Possible Side Effects
- Nausea
- Headache
- Insomnia
- Diarrhea
- Weight Gain
- Agitation and/or other neuropsychiatric symptoms
- Skin rash, hypersensitivity, myopathy, hepatotoxicity (if one of these occurs, contact your doctor immediately)
Laboratory Test
- Baseline and annual creatinine test
Follow-up as advised by your physician or any time when you experience adverse reactions.
