There are those days that we (girls) just can’t avoid having a “bad hair” day, and more often than not it puts us (girls) in a bad mood. There’s tons of OTC products that promise one way or another to help or avoid the bad hair days. I personally have at least three products at home that I use for my hair care, but sometimes I feel that my hair gets used to the product and tends to dry out so I have to switch to a different product every 2-3 months.
Then I saw this Pantene conditioner that was being advertised on TV, it claims to make miracles on your hair where it mentions the tagline “3 minute miracle”. The first thing I noticed was its color, it comes in a rich gold color, not anything like I’ve seen for a hair product before. When I saw it on the grocery aisle, it really stood out due to its color. So I decided to give it a try since it was about time that I try a new product for my hair anyway.
I am a bit picky when it comes to products I try though, I narrow down my preferences to three main factors – Price, scent and effectiveness. If these three things are met, then I give it a go.
So, when it comes to the price I’d say that this conditioner is averagely priced (though I got it for a discounted price). Comparing it to the other conditioners in the market, there’s not much difference. Second is the scent, I guess it’s just okay. The smell tends to stay on my hair for a good three hours after I get out of the shower, and maybe four at the most. I’d like it better if it stays longer though.
Now, down to effectiveness, I’ll rate it with 3.5 out of 5 only because I find my hair a little oily whenever I use it. This is probably best for me whenever I need extra moisture for my hair. Perhaps if you have hair that’s on the dry side, maybe for dyed hair or if you had your hair straightened or permed then this may work for you. This product somehow lives up to its promise or that “3 minute miracle” tagline because I think it did wonders to my hair because I found my hair shiny after using it. My colleagues also noticed my hair smelling quite nice and thought I changed my usual perfume.
I still have one of the bottles I bought at home, and I use it maybe once in a while. But to sum things up this product is something I will recommend to girls who need that extra moisture for their hair. I did not find it best for me, but it might be worth a try for other.
