sitting on a chilly evening talking with some of my littles… and as always the discussion turns to family… and one precious little boy says “mom please will you find me a good mommy? a good one like you. and beautiful. And teach her how to take care of us”. and i hear the quiver in his voice and he climbs in my lap. and as i wrap my arms around him tightly, i have to turn my head to hide my tears… #lifeinanorphanage #holisticcare See MoreSee Less

What is it with teams and knocking holes in walls! Happy to know Canadians can do this too but i must say they make a lot less mess than my dear marine friends!!!!! 😉 Looking forward to more classroom space! #lifeinanorphanage See MoreSee Less

Dear Sir

First of all, I’m sorry for writing you all of a sudden. My name is Kohei Tsukada, a student at the faculty of law, Chuo university, Tokyo , Japan.

On the behalf of My group I’m writing this letter to request for permission so that we can visit your center in November, the purpose of which, is to conduct research as part of the requirements of our course.
My group mates and I are doing research about former street children in Philippines and their successful transition to becoming independent individuals, with focus on the difference between children who succeeded and who did not.
Also, we’d like to learn more about the kind of support that you give these former street children that helped them become socially independent.

I hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you very much for your consideration.
