CMSP CHILDREN JOIN UNITED NATIONS’ DAY CELEBRATION!

October 24, 2017 is commemorated as United Nations Day! It was UN’s 72nd anniversary of its founding with the theme: "International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development." The Philippines is one of the 51 original UN-member states that established it in 1945.
It was a red-letter day for the CMSP children in Pinagbuhatan, Calaca and Sipocot Centers. Despite the rainy weather, the festive atmosphere brought sheer excitement to the parents with their children donning the colorful national costumes of nations in a parade around the community.
At the Center, a program was held to show off the costumes and greetings of the children, with special songs and dances. It was a good learning experience for children to know the different countries of the world, their culture and beautiful costumes. They also shared their hopes and dreams for peace, unity and harmony among the nations of the world!
