I was surprised that it only costs 10 pesos, cheaper than my preferred brand. Datu Puti is a popular brand of vinegar and soy sauce, best for adobo dishes.
When I added the sauce to my dish, I noticed that it has a thicker consistency compared to Mama Sitas. It has the right amount of sweetness which is good since my family members are not fond of sweet viands.
I also tried it on marinades and fried rice. Datu Puti Oyster Sauce and my preferred brand tastes similar yet a lot cheaper. It’s a great add on to your favorite Filipino cuisines like adobo and barbecue. Also, try it on soups and noodles dishes like pancit, lomi and chow mien.
When it comes to taste and affordability, Datu Puti Oysterrific Oyster sauce is now my personal choice. You can use it in a lot of ways. Great to use in place of or addition to soy sauce, just go easy because it’s a bit salty.
