Focus on the good.
If you’re looking for a laid-back hangout place that’s sure to put you in a good mood, visit this CBTL branch in the South! On one of my visits, the barista was kind enough to put an inspiring quote on my cup. That definitely made my day.
This branch, found along Alabang-Zapote Road, is only a few months old, but it’s certainly off to a good start. It caters mostly to old friends catching up, busy students focusing on exams and business people holding meetings.
Often on weekday afternoons, you would find this place almost empty, but that doesn’t make it feel lonely. I think it makes it feel homey, private and mysterious even. Maybe part of the aura also comes from the indie pop/indie folk playing in the background. These are the tracks you don’t find in your typical playlist. And yet somehow, they feel familiar.
Unlike other busy coffee shops, CBTL provides you with a soothing ambiance. For meet ups, this place is perfect to give your group a little privacy. For students, the ample amount of sockets and the atmosphere is sure to provide an area conducive for studying. And for business meetings, there’s a convenient couch area at the back of the room, enough for big groups to occupy.
For me, I love going here for the music and the Chicago Cheesecake. I go here with friends, study buddies and with my family. Why? Because it’s convenient and comfortable. Philam residents are just walking distance away from the place while BF Resort residents can take a short drive before getting here.
If you do decide to visit, make sure to try out their Crème Bruleè flavored coffee, in either the hot or cold variant. You’re sure to love it either way. Other must-tries include their Bagel w/ Cream Cheese Breakfast Set and their Roast Chicken and Mushroom Fusilli.
They say the South is the home of chill vibes and chill people. Well, here you have it. This CBTL branch is sure to make you feel exactly that. So sit back, relax and remember to focus on the good.
