Hi doc,
My son was bitten by a cat last year 2020 on the month of November. The cat is still alive and kicking though. Does that mean we still need to get an anti rabies vaccine or PEP?
I was bitten by a dog who newly gave birth as well on my lap 20 years ago that dog didnt die she died few years after as she’s old. So do i still need to be vaccinated too? According to what i heard rabies can incubate until 20-25 years in the body. How sure is that? Please educate me doc. Thank you.
