Watson’s Moisturizing Lip Balm Review

It’s January and the temperature has gone down a little than usual. It’s colder and the air is a little dry nowadays specially in the morning and at night. And because of these reasons, we’re prone to getting dry and chapped lips, using lip balm can help.

I saw this lip balm on display when I went to Watson’s to buy some meds one time and I thought that it was really cute. I also noticed that it’s priced way cheaper than the usual lip balms in the market, it’s less than Php50. I bought the Sweet Strawberry shade, just because I like this shade the best, though it comes in other shades like Luscious Grape, Wild Cherry, and Juicy Apple. So as I have mentioned, the packaging is really cute as it comes in a tiny, plastic container. It has a sticker bearing the brand name, and some strawberries.

Just looking at it I know that it will be a good product for me, when I first tried it I can’t stop reapplying over and over again. It almost became a habit until I realized I was overdoing it. I thought I almost developed an addiction for this lip balm. One thing that I love about it is that when I wear it, lipstick is no longer needed. I can go about with just this on my lips. It looks as if I am wearing lipstick only with a subtle a shade. It looks very natural, it moistens my lips and giving a little pop of color without any drama in between. Plus it tastes good, I don’t know if I termed it correctly but it tastes nice and sweet just like a strawberry would – at least a strawberry candy for that matter.

I have been using this for more than a month now, and I’m not even halfway through it considering that I use this very frequently. I think I use it as much 20x a day, so this is so much worth the money I spent. I’m looking to buy the other shades as well. I really love this and it keeps my lips from drying or chapping. The only thing I did not really like about this is that I find it a little unhygienic. You need to use your fingers to swipe it and glide it to your lips. So every time you use this, you have to make sure that your fingers are clean as the last thing you want to do is to put germs or bacteria on to the balm. I find that balm that is contaminated with bad stuff smells bad and you don’t want that to happen.

Though overall, this is a very good product you can get for yourself and very cheap as well. It’s worth a try, anyway it’s less than P50 – there’s nothing to lose!
