Salad Stop Review
If you’re looking for a healthy and organic snack around Bonifacio High Street in Taguig, then this is the place to go. I have to say that the price is reasonable, ranging from Php 260 to Php 350 for a solo salad bowl. It could be good enough for 2 people if your appetite is not huge, but ideally the serving is just for one person. You can either have your salad in a bowl or in a wrap. You’ll just have to pay Php 250 if you choose the wrap version.
Hanging on the High Street could be really expensive. The place doesn’t have the usual fast food chains like McDonald’s or Jollibee, unless you’d want to walk all the way to Market Market. Salad Stop is perfect for those who are on a diet and want to live a healthy lifestyle. Now, Php 250 for a single order might be a bit much for some, but you can’t really put a price on your health and the nutrition that your body needs.
They have different salad types to choose from and I recommend their “Oh Crab Lah!” It has crab sticks, romaine lettuce, some bits of hard boiled egg, vermicelli, croutons, onions and cherry tomatoes. The best part of this salad is their Singapore chili crab dressing. It is creamy and it has a balanced amount of spiciness once it reaches your tongue. This is one of their signature salads, so it is best that you try this out first.
They also have some classic offerings like their Cobb Salad if you just want to stick to the basics. This one has some grilled chicken, cheddar cheese, cherry tomatoes, bacon bits, romaine lettuce, onions, bits of hard boiled egg and the best ingredient — it has avocado! This is a Php 260-meal well spent!
Salad Stop doesn’t only have salads, but you will also love their pastries. For only Php 50, you could already have their Acai Banana Cake or their Carrot Cake. Both are delicious by the way, and they don’t contain butter.
