Revlon ColorStay Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review

Product claims: It’s a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 12 vibrant shades that match any look or mood.

Although Revlon is one of the pricier drugstore brands, I decided to give this balm stain a try because Revlon is also known for making some of the best lippies.

After trying this product out for a few days, it instantly became one of my favorites because its moisturizing ability is just to die for. The shade that I got was Romantic. I did not expect the pigmentation to be that good because after all, it’s not a lipstick or a lipgloss. It was only a lip stain, but it was easily noticeable. I also took note of its moisturizing effect as well as the fact that it does not feel sticky on the lips. Stickiness is a big no-no for me when it comes to lip products because they make it awkward and difficult to talk. It also stays on for a decent amount of time (5 hours if you don’t take any meals). It’s definitely an unexpectedly good lip balm.

I wear this on an everyday basis because it’s pretty without being too bold. Also, it’s perfect for school days because of its great longevity even after eating some snacks. I only retouch after full meals, and, I’m already happy with that performance since compared to other lip balms, that’s actually quite a long time. I also love the packaging because the crayon look just makes it so much easier to apply this. Also, even after using this several times a day, there’s still so much product left, so I really feel like I got my money’s worth with this one.

According to the website, it is available in 12 shades, and I’m excited to see if they’ll release more. They focused more on pink to red colors, but I would like to see some nude to brown colors in the options.

I got mine for Php. 400 online, but department stores hold sales every now and then, so I hope if you get to buy one 50% off when you decide to use this. I’m giving this a 4.5/5 just because I hope they’d release more nude colors!
