Purefoods Luncheon Meat Review
When it comes to canned goods, I just trust one brand. And that is only Purefoods! Its products taste better than others. They are always worth the price. And one Purefoods product that I really love is Purefoods Luncheon Meat. What is special about it? Please read on to know.
What I like about Purefoods Luncheon Meat is it tastes like the costly imported luncheon meats or perhaps even better. I can taste real meat in every slice of it. I often mix it with my fried rice and put it in my sandwiches. It adds a delectable taste to them. I am not fond of eating processed meats but this one is an exception. I have it like once or twice a week for my breakfast or brunch.
Another thing I like about Purefoods Luncheon Meat is it has several varieties to choose from and they are equally tasty and meaty. It comes in Hormel Barbecue, Chicken Chinese Style and Chili Pepper. It is like I am eating real barbecue with the first and real chicken with the second. I enjoy the not-too-spicy flavor of the third one. I like them all! I cannot actually distinguish which one tastes better.
Another nice thing about Purefoods Luncheon Meat is it does not separate into fragments when I slice it into thick strips and fry it unlike other luncheon meats. The slices remain whole and tender before and after cooking. They are so easy to prepare. This is the best canned food to cook when you are in a hurry and have no time to cook for any dish or when you do not know what to cook for breakfast.
Purefoods Luncheon Meat costs 60 – 70 Php depending on the flavor or variety. It may be expensive to some people but to me it is worth it. It is not like other luncheon meats that are cheap but taste like crap. I often buy the Chicken Chinese Style for it is 360 grams and only costs 60 pesos – cheaper and bigger than the other variants which are 145 grams less and cost 10 pesos higher.
Purefoods Luncheon Meat is the best luncheon meat I have ever tasted. I will always have it on my grocery list. It deserves a five-star rating.
