Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara Review
As a beauty junkie myself, I know the feeling of being surrounded with different choices of makeup. For me, one of the essentials that a girl must have in her makeup kit is the mascara. It makes your eyes pop. It makes them look wide and awake even though you haven’t had enough sleep the night before.
Good quality makeup oftentimes costs a lot, even more so if it is waterproof, but not this Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. It is truly a great find! It is relatively cheap for the result it delivers. It’s light and it’s easy to use it for my everyday makeup routine.
The packaging of this mascara also appeals to the younger market. It comes in a pink tube with a green cap. Even though it looks like that, it delivers results like that of high-end, designer makeup brands.
It doesn’t feel heavy on my eyes and it really doesn’t smudge. It stays all day and it curls my lashes for a long time. This is because of the mascara wand which is designed to hold curls on lashes. The applicator holds on to the individual hair of your lashes making the result look light and natural. It doesn’t look like false eyelashes. For best results, you should first curl your lashes. It should take at least two coatings of this mascara to make the result really visible.
Since it’s summertime, waterproof makeup is a must. Girls can always look their best even when under the sun, strolling the beach and hitting the waters. I can say this is a legit waterproof makeup. Even after a long day, it still wears on. Based on my experience, even after I have showered, the product is still there. It wasn’t removed just by water and facial soap. You’ll be needing a makeup remover to get it off your eyes.
Like most makeup products, this mascara comes in different shades. Mine is “Very Black.” I like it because it matches my natural hair color. It doesn’t look fake and it enhances my features just right. This is an example of a great thing in a small package. It’s just 12.7mL, costs around Php 350, but it’s really worth it.
