Hanging Out at Nuvali: The Review
Do you want to hang out with friends or spend quality time with family but you’re tired of the heavy polluted Metro Manila? I suggest you visit this breezy area in the south, it’s only about an hour away from the buzzling metro!
Nuvali is located across three cities (Sta. Rosa, Cabuyao, and Calamba) in the province of Laguna. It is an Ayala land continuously being developed as an eco-city in the south. Nuvali is a nature-loving paradise but it has several establishments, activities, and spots ideal for hanging out with friends or spending quality time with family. Yes, it’s located in the province, but there’s no need to worry about not having anything to do or getting bored!
Nuvali is a good place for sports and adventure bondings. It has a lake and they offer amusements, such as taxi boat rides and fish-feeding for reasonable fees, these are available from 8:00AM to 5:30PM. If you’re staying for several days in the area, you don’t need to sacrifice your daily exercise because they have jogging paths and leisure bike-rentals.
Most of the restaurants in Nuvali are open from 10AM to 10PM. Some food services here are Starbucks Coffee, Gerry’s Grill, Seafood Island, Yellow Cab, Pancake House, Italianni’s and a whole lot more. If you want to experience having a picnic, you can do that too! You can lay a picnic blanket on the grass at the lakeside and have your picnic there! It’s a natural thing in Nuvali so don’t hesitate to try it! I’ve tried it with my friends and it’s so refreshing and fun!
You can also go shopping in Nuvali. Solenad has plenty of shops, brands such as Bench, Payless, Aerosoles, Nine West, Quiksilver, Res Toe Run etc. can be found there. There is even a Robinson’s Supermarket, in case you need to some grocery shopping too. As of writing, there is a mall being built near Nuvali’s center island. I’m not sure when is the mall set to open, but that mall is something to look forward to as well!
Casual picture taking or even grand photoshoots can also be done in Nuvali. I enjoyed posing with friends for pictures with beautiful sceneries for our background! It’s perfect to put your precious memories with loved ones into photos!
While beggars are present in most parks in Metro Manila, there are no beggars in Nuvali and there are security guards roaming around the whole area to check everyone’s safety.
I haven’t seen all of Nuvali yet, this park is across three cities of Laguna after all. But of course, I’m going to explore more of what this splendor and invigorating place has to offer. Nuvali is such a breath of fresh air!
