Fisher Price Blue Bug and Friends Infant to Toddler Rocker Review
As a working mom at home, it is necessary to keep my baby safe and secured and at the same time, entertained while my attention is away from her. Fischer Price offers me these with their Blue Bug and Friends Infant to Toddler Rocker.
The product costs Php 5,500 originally, but I bought mine from Lazada for a cheaper price, thanks to their seasonal discounts and sales. It’s a great buy. The rocker comes with small toys attached to a detachable toy bar. Whenever I’m playing with my baby, I help her reach for the toys. One of them makes musical sounds which my daughter loves. When it’s nap time, I simply remove the toy bar and rock her to sleep.
The vibrator is a great help especially when I need to calm my baby from crying. The vibration soothes her and she easily falls asleep. It has a fold-out kickstand which prevents the seat from rocking. This is ideal when I am feeding my baby and she keeps moving. I also don’t have to worry about her falling off the rocker. I just secure her in a reclining position and strap her with the belt.
One of the perks in buying this infant seat is that I can use it for a long time. My baby has been using the rocker since she was 2 months. I love the idea that once she learns to sit down by herself, she can use it as her personal seat. It’s also portable which means I can transfer my baby girl anywhere in the house. She can take a nap beside me while I’m working in my office and I can talk and play with her when I’m eating or cleaning the house.
The only con I can find in using this product is the mechanism in adjusting the chair from the reclining position to an upright. I need to push the buttons at the side with both my hands and ask someone else to adjust the chair. Besides that, this infant to toddler rocker rocks! And I mean, it does function and it’s awesome.
The product comes with the reclining infant rocker, a washable seat pad and three colorful toys. You’ll need one D battery to get the vibrator to work.
