Cyleina Organic Tomato Soap Review

Like most Filipinas, I crave to have fair, white and luminous skin. Therefore, I have been searching for the most effective whitening products available in the market. My most recent discovery is  Cyleina Organic Tomato  soap.

Cyleina Organic Tomato soap promises to give its users rosy white and acne-free skin. It is recommended for those with oily skin and large pores. Unlike other whitening products which claim to improve skin complexion in a week or two, this soap does not promise skin lightening in a specific period of time.

The main ingredient of Cyleina Organic Tomato soap is tomato which is known to be rich in vitamin C, a potent antioxidant and also helps in skin lightening. It also has AHA or Alpha-Hydroxy Acids which gently exfoliates the skin to remove pimple-causing dirt and give a rosy white skin. Moreover, it contains lycopene which helps fight skin aging.

There are a lot of things to love about Cyleina Organic Tomato Soap. First, it is organic. Therefore, no harsh chemicals are used in making this soap. Second, it is almost scent-free. Although the bar has a very mild sweet scent, it is not overpowering and almost cannot be smelled upon lathering. Third, there is no stinging. I usually leave it on my face for 30 seconds to one minute and 3 to 5 minutes on my body. During this time, I’m expecting some mild stinging sensation that I usually experience with other whitening soaps. However, there is  no stinging sensation at all! Lastly, it is non-drying. Upon rinsing, I was surprised that there is no micro peeling, just soft, well-moisturized skin worth flaunting.

Despite my praises for this soap, it also has its downside. It is quite expensive compared to the other whitening soaps available in the market. Cyleina Organic Tomato soap is available in 200 grams for 105 pesos. It can be purchased at Watsons, SM supermarkets and SM department stores. Just like other organic soaps, it melts easily. This is probably because it is made of all natural ingredients. My biggest disappointment is after three weeks, no noticeable changes in my complexion can be seen.

The Verdict:

I am in love with this soap! Even though I have not seen any improvement in my skin color I will still continue to use Cyleina Organic Tomato soap. Why? Because it didn’t give me any breakouts and have greatly improved my pore size after a week of use. I will give it a few more weeks to give me the rosy white skin I have always been dreaming of.
