City Color Perfecting Palette Review
Product claims: City Color Perfecting Palette provides maximum color-correcting coverage for a flawless finish. The smooth, creamy texture allows for easy application and blendability. Available in three shades to perfectly customize to your needs, each palette is complete with 2 concealer shades and 3 color correctors to neutralize blemishes and other color imperfections. Paraben-Free and great for all skin types.
This has got to be one of the most recommended color correcting products out there in the market. With its creamy consistency and hasssle-free application, I’m sure girls everywhere will love using this. Girls of all colors can enjoy using this since the palettes come in Light, Medium and Tan shades.
This has definitely become one of my go-to products for completing my make-up look. It efficiently covers up imperfections to help your skin look smooth and flawless. It comes in a small rectangular container with a glass cover. A simple applicator is also provided although I prefer using my fingers when applying this product on my face.
I mainly use the green and orange color correctors because the former is for redness (e.g. acne) while the latter is for dark spots (e.g. acne scars). I don’t have bad breakouts but every now and then, tiny red pimples would pop out of nowhere, and sometimes putting on foundation just won’t cut it. Also, after my acne clears up, it leaves behind some scarring, which is never a pretty sight to see.
That is why this product feels so magical to me. Upon application, I just dab on some foundation and all these imperfections would seem perfectly hidden. What’s even more amazing is that even if you use a lightweight foundation, it would still blend perfectly in order to color correct your face. Long gone are the days of heavy coverage foundation for hiding imperfections!
As for the yellow color, I tried using it as a concealer, and I think it performs well as a cream concealer. I just don’t use it as much because I prefer liquid concealers. The same goes for the contouring colors. They seem lovely, but I feel that I have better products that can do the job. Nevertheless, they would do really well for girls who love cream-based products.
The best part about all of this is that the product is super affordable. I got mine at Php. 215 during an online sale, and it was one of the best steals ever. All I could wish for is the addition of a purple shade in the mix to counter dullness.
Overall, this product is a 5/5 for me, and I would definitely repurchase when I run out. It might also be a good idea to get this palette in the bigger ones they have available because I’m telling you, it’s definitely worth it. Get ready to upgrade your makeup game.
